About Jesse
My Story
After finishing my studies at St. Mary’s University in Halifax, NS in the late 90s, I relocated to Calgary to pursue a career in Community Rehabilitation and Advocacy. However, after nearly a decade, I felt drained and defeated, constrained by an inadequate conventional education and trapped in my own inability to change. I found myself powerless to effectively assist others.
Over the subsequent decade, I wandered in search of healing and profound transformation. While I experienced both personal and professional achievements, each success was accompanied by setbacks and disappointment, as I struggled to break free from intergenerational trauma, CPTSD, addiction, and chronic illness.
Throughout my journey, I had the privilege of working with and learning from numerous skilled therapists and healers. However, it was therapist Rita Bozi whose guidance propelled me onto the healing journey that shattered my preconceived notions of self and potential. This journey not only revolutionized my own life but also facilitated the healing of fractured relationships with my son, husband, and mother, catalyzing their own paths toward healing.
Through this process, I came to understand that individual healing ripples out to mend families and mend communities, in fact it is the only way.
Armed with a clear vision and a rekindled passion, I embarked on a journey of reeducation, delving into both alternative health practices and traditional therapeutic modalities that resonated with my lived experiences of authentic transformation. I became captivated by the neuroscience of change and the incredible adaptability of our brains, leading me to explore hypnotherapy for its gentle yet profound capacity to bypass conscious beliefs and address the root of our struggles. I also studied somatic and psychedelic assisted therapies, early childhood development, as well as becoming a certified end-of-life doula.
In my role as an Integrative Hypnotherapist, I prioritize an understanding of the unconscious mind and implicit memory, infusing all my work with techniques that honor the innate capacity for healing and radical change.

"After one session, I understood more about my own brain than I thought possible. What Jesse does is so unique, I’ve never experienced anything like it, in my years of therapy. She introduced me to myself, to my real self and showed me how to get to know that person and how to love and trust her. Truly life changing!"
